Hey Lulu

Near Kingston town of Jamaica where grow the bamboo and palm
there live a man who play music and for people sing of his song
The daytime spent on the village he teach the music in school
When music moon she cam dancing down the path to Kingston he move

Hey La La -- Hey La Lee -- Hey Lulu oh where can you be

the people come to the tina our friend he begin to play
there laughing dancing they mingle while the guitar she began to say

Hey La La -- Hey La Lee -- Hey Lulu oh where can you be

Now resting time is approaching the people they begin to leave
One chair it has not been empty since the coming of the music
With face gentle as evening eyes the color of blue
Lips the warm like the rose bud she is called the name of Lulu

The last I see of them walking caressed by bamboo and palm
The path from Kingston Jamaica to the land of bamboo and song

Hey La La -- Hey La Lee -- Hey Lulu they happy as can be
Hey La La -- Hey La Lee -- Hey Lulu by the bamboo tree

Hey La La -- Hey La Lee -- Hey Lulu they happy as can be
Hey La La -- Hey La Lee -- Hey Lulu by the bamboo tree
